If you are receiving ERROR 5 during your installation of Registry Cleaner, this is almost always because there is a trial (evaluation) copy of Registry Cleaner still on your system.

It is important to REMOVE any trial or evaluation copy of the software before attempting to install your purchaed copy. Please close any running copy of Registry Cleaner and then use the "Add / Remove Programs" icon in the Control Panel to remove it. Alternatively you can use the "Uninstall Registry Cleaner" item on your start menu, which can be found under the Registry Cleaner group that was added during installation.
