How To Adjust MemTurbo in order to get the Maximum Benefit
Why Do You Need MemTurbo™ 4?
MemTurbo™ 4
is a highly acclaimed and powerful application that can optimize memory and manage the cache. Applications can now use memory without forcing Windows to go to the hard drive. This leads to an increase in system’s performance, lowering the computer's response time.
Why is Memory Optimization Necessary?
Everybody talks about computer
RAM
, but what does RAM mean? RAM (Random Access Memory) can be thought of as a temporary storage area for your computer. Everytime you start a program or open a file, the computer stores information related to them in RAM. It's important to realize that RAM is finite, which means that the more applications or files you open, less RAM is available. At some point, the computer will run out of RAM. When this happens, the computer has to start using the hard drive to compensate for the lack of RAM. Since the hard disk is much slower than the RAM, this can cause your computer's performance to slow down.
MemTurbo
can help in these situations, when applications are no longer active.
MemTurbo
can reclaim lost resources and put them to better use. By reclaiming resources, the computer does not need to access the hard drive as frequently. This will greatly enhance your computer's performance.
Install Instructions
You can install
MemTurbo™ 4
on your system easily and quickly by following these simple steps given below. Make sure to uninstall
ALL

In the configure section, you can modify the various options of
MemTurbo
. Here, you are able to set whether you want the program to start when Windows starts, or to recover RAM when a particular level is reached, etc. You can also set hotkeys and set memory graph speeds.
You may also use PC Tuneup which has performance tweaks for Windows to get the most out of your system. All of these options are outlined in detail in the following sections.
CPU Rocket and RAM Tuner Technology
MemTurbo
includes
CPU Rocket
and
RAM Tuner
technologies which fine-tune your memory allocation and processor optimization to the most active applications. This focuses the power of your computer directly on the programs you use most, maximizing your computing experience.
Setting AutoRecover and Target Levels Appropriately
Setting your
AutoRecover
and
Target Levels
properly helps to ensure that some memory is available at all times. The default setting for
AutoRecover
works for most users. If you set this setting too high, your computer may constantly try and recover RAM, even when it’s not supposed to. Ideally, the
AutoRecover
should be set between 10-25% of the total system’s RAM. (Depending on how much RAM your system has.) The goal here is to recover most memory, but not all memory. If you try and recover too much memory, you may take away resources from essential system applications.
For
Target Levels
, you won’t be able to recover 100% of the RAM. This is up to the user on how much you want to recover, depending on what application you’re running. For example, you may want to recover different amounts of RAM, depending on whether you’re running a PC game or if you’re preventing your computer from stalling.
Using the
AutoRecover
and
Target Level
settings will help keep the available memory balanced and in a certain range. This will help avoid long recoveries, which can slow down PC performance.
