The free evaluation version of InternetShield is limited to restricting a total of 20 websites. If you have purchased the full version, and this limitation remains, you must still be running the evaluation copy. Please close all copies of InternetShield, then use "Add/Remove Programs" in your computer's "Control Panel" to remove the evaluation copy. Once removed, reinstall your licensed copy using the instructions provided when you purchased.
For a full discussion of why a site may be present in the restricted list, click here.
Simply uncheck its checkbox before clicking "Protect My Computer". If you wish to de-restrict a site after you have already restricted it, click on the Settings tab of InternetShield. On the bottom of the window you will find a link called "Manage Restricted Zone URLs", which will bring up a dialog allowing you to selectively remove any site from the restricted list that you wish.
Restricting a website places it in the "Restricted Zone" of your Internet Explorer. When browsing with Internet Explorer, any site in the Restricted Zone will have limitations placed on what it can and cannot do when you visit it. By default the website will not be able to run ActiveX controls, it will not be able to script ActiveX controls, nor will it be able to run Java applets. It will also be prevented from running scripts or initiating downloads to your computer. For privacy reasons, the site will also be prevented from writing "cookies" to your computer's hard drive.
